We collect as little as possible.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address for one purpose: to send you the weekly fold. We never sell it, never share it, and you can unsubscribe from any email with a single click, at which point we delete it.

Analytics

We ask before we measure. The first time you visit, a small banner asks whether we may use one analytics cookie. If you say no, nothing is loaded — no script, no cookie, no request leaves your browser. The site works exactly the same.

If you say yes, we use Metricool to see which folds are actually read: page views, rough location by country, which link brought you here. We do not see your name, your email, or what you do on other sites. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can clear it at any time by clearing site data, after which we will ask again.

This changed on 1 August 2026. Before that date the site had no analytics at all.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (Europe) and the KVKK (Türkiye), you may ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@foldsong.com and we will respond.
